so I have to ask when are the predictions for ice out. I have a place at Weilands and I'm dying to get the boat in the water. I have spring break the first week of April, hopefully it will be fishable by then.

I sure hope so too. There is a LOT of ice on the river, well over a foot in many places. But the current and warm weather is doing it's job. I would guess that by the first week of April there should be some open water. Whether that's at Weiland's or not is anyone's guess

Was wondering if anyone could post an update on ice conditions by Weilands. Was hoping to head up next Wed, also if ice is not out there is there anywhere open enough to launch a boat. Thanks

Ice is flowing and I would bet that you will find plenty of open water.
Be careful, lots of ice on the move.
