If you are one of the many who take their boat in for a spring tune up, you might want to be ahead of the pack and get in soon.  Once the rivers start to open and a few warm days come along, boat dealers will be busy.  That could mean you waiting for your boat while the fish are biting.

So take a tip from your Ol Uncle Doc, get that boat ready now.  String new line and grease your reels too.  Then, if you think you're ready, take out 10 of you favorite jigs and sharpen the hooks.  keep those separate and ready to use, you will be glad you did.
